Admissions & registration

Application & Deadlines

To apply for a program, students must first review the application form and its requirements to ensure the collection of appropriate material. By the time they have gathered all documentation they should proceed with payment of the onetime application fee either at the relevant online portal or at via a bank transfer. Students should always add their surname, initial letter of their first name and Degree title in the deposit description. They can then proceed with their application which can only be conducted online and submit it along with the supporting documentation, listed below. All support documents must be in electronic format and uploaded to be sent with the application, except for the reference letters, which should be emailed directly from Referees to the relevant program e-mail address.

Foundation courses for Undergraduate or Postgraduate studies

At a glance, the application must include:

  • Completed online Application Form in English
  • Scanned Passport or ID with photo
  • High School /University Degree
  • High School/University Transcript
  • Minimum IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent
  • Personal Statement (400 words)
  • Registration fee of 50€
    Deadlines

LLB, BA in European Law and Governance Studies, BA in European Governance Application Process

At a glance, the application must include:

  • Completed online Application Form in English (please refer to each degree page)
  • Photograph and ID (scanned and uploaded)
  • High School Transcript (scanned and uploaded)
  • Certificate of Proficiency of English (if non-native speaker, scanned and uploaded TOEFL 83, Cambridge Proficiency grade C, IELTS 6.0, Duolingo 90 or equivalent)
  • High school Degree in English (scanned and uploaded)
  • Personal Statement with Scholarship request if applicable (400-600 words)
  • Optional: Reference Letters (To be sent directly from Referee to relevant program email)
  • Application fee of 50€ (non-refundable)
Deadlines

We are currently accepting applications for Session 2025/2026 and the process will remain open until June 30. Classes start in October.

Application Process for the LLMs & the MA

At a glance, the application must include:

    • Completed online Application Form in English (please refer to each degree page)
    • Photograph and ID (scanned and uploaded)
    • Most Recent Academic Record, Undergraduate degree (scanned and uploaded)
    • Certificate of Proficiency of English (if non-native speaker, scanned and uploaded- TOEFL 83, Cambridge Proficiency grade C, IELTS 6.0, Duolingo 90 or equivalent)
    • Personal Statement with Scholarship request if applicable (400-600 words)
    • Two Reference Letters, one compulsory and one optional (To  be sent directly from Referee to the relevant program email)
    • Application fee of 50€ (non-refundable)

Application Process for the MSt, MPhil and PhD

At a glance, the application must include:

  • Completed online Application Form in English (please refer to each degree page)
  • Photograph and ID (scanned and uploaded)
  • Most Recent Academic Record (scanned and uploaded)
  • Proof of English language skills if not native English speaker (TOEFL 90, Cambridge Proficiency grade B, IELTS 6.6, Duolingo 95 or equivalent)
  • Proof of proficiency of language that thesis will be written in, if non-native speaker
  • Personal Statement with Scholarship request if applicable (400-600 words)
  • Two Reference Letters (if employed, one must be from current employer)
  • Research Proposal 1,000 words for MSt, MPhil and 1500 words for PhD
  • Two Academic Writing Samples on relevant topic (Master’s thesis accepted)
  • Application Fee of 50€ ( non refundable)
Deadlines

We are currently accepting applications for Session 2025/2026 and the process will remain open until June 30. The Research Skills taught program will take place on January-February, 2026. Exact dates to be announced.
