ELGS Board of Trustees Convenes for the First Time in Rome
The Board of Trustees of the European Law and Governance School (ELGS) convened in Rome for the first time at the historic Palazzo Altemps on Monday, 27 October 2025. The meeting marked an important milestone in the institution’s development and strategic vision for advancing excellence in legal and governance education across Europe and beyond.
During their visit, the Board was received by His Excellency the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, who also serves as the Honorary President of the European Law and Governance School. The audience underscored the strong commitment of Italy and the European academic community to fostering educational institutions that promote democratic values, the rule of law, and effective governance.
