ELGS MA and LLM Students at the Cascais Campus Meet with EPLO and Institute for Global Rule of Law Directors
Students of the MA and LLM programs at the ELGS Cascais Campus participated in an inspiring and insightful meeting with the Director of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) and the Director of the EPLO Institute for Global Rule of Law.
The discussion centered on EPLO’s mission and its international cooperation initiatives, with particular emphasis on partnerships with African countries. The leaders highlighted the critical importance of these collaborations in advancing the Rule of Law, promoting good governance, and fostering democratic values across the globe.
During the meeting, the EPLO representatives shared the organization’s strategic vision and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting legal and democratic education internationally. The Director-General provided a comprehensive overview of the ELGS Master’s programs—the MA in Rule of Law and Global Democracy and the LLM in International Organizations—explaining the inspiration behind their development and underscoring their vital role in preparing future leaders dedicated to democracy, justice, and human rights.
