SDG Center Event on the sustainability of the US trade deficit

The SDG Centre on Governance and Public Law of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) and the European Law & Governance School co-organized a masterclass event on: “HOW SUSTAINABLE IS THE U.S. TRADE DEFICIT OF FOUR PERCENT OF THE U.S. GDP?”

The masterclass event took place on Friday 8 November, 2019 at the EPLO premises at the Roman Agora (Plaka) from 17:30 until 19:30.

Masterclass Program

  • Welcome address and introductory remarks by Mr. Spyros Kouvelis, Program Director of the EPLO/CISL SDG Center, and Mrs. Christina Deligianni, University of Chicago Alumni Club of Greece
  • Keynote speech by Professor Emeritus of International Economics and Finance, Robert Z. Aliber, University of Chicago Booth School of Business
  • Q&A and discussion with participants

Closing remarks by Mr.Spyros Kouvelis

All presentations and discussion were held in English.
